Carolina Country Snacks was a family-owned regional producer of pork skin snacks and had created a series of successful innovations in the niche that had led to good growth and a loyal clientele. But the competition copied most of their products and they came to us for ideas that would rejuvenate their brand and separate them from the competition. Pork rinds are generally viewed as commodity products and retail buyers and consumers often use price as the deciding factor when purchasing. ReVision uncovered an opportunity with the CCS product line and found a WHY for their consumers. We called it the crunch factor. CCS offers a wide variety of products that range from extra crunchy to lightly crunchy. So when you’re ready to grab some crunch, you can pick the crunch factor that fits your mood, your style and the strength of your teeth. We updated their packaging and used their delivery vans as moving billboards to deliver the crunch factor message. And we created a mascot to help add some personality to the brand message.
